Home Groups
We invite you to start a
home group where you live. We want to help each of you
start a home group. I talk to believers all over the world
and there is a common remark from all. Each can not find a
place to worship or fellowship with other believers in the
Way that the Lord is moving them.
You
are not alone
The fellowship over the
internet is good but our Father wants us to be together
with other believers physically
Matthew 18:19-20
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall
agree on earth as touching any thing that they
shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is
in heaven. For where two or three are gathered
together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
To start a home group
you need one other person, a day, a time and a plan. Find
one other person, set a day and a time, we will help with
the plan.
Basically, Yeshua
studied the Word each week in congregation on Shabbat and
we will study the same way He did. The Torah is broken
down into weekly readings in a yearly cycle. It used to be
a trienniall cycle but we will work with what is current.
We will post the
readings on the web and we will e-mail them to whom ever
signs up to start a home group. We will also provide an
explanation on the reading for the week. As the years go
by, every year is a new explanation for as the Lord helps
us grow in His Word we learn new things.
Matthew 9:17
Neither do men put new wine into old leather:
else the leather break, and the wine runneth out, and the
leather perish: but they put new wine into new
leather, and both are preserved.
Think about Matthew 19
for a moment. The Lord is continually giving us new wine,
new teachings, if we allow our wine skin to become old,
hardened and brittle, we stop being able to learn. We
close the door on our Father, not allowing Him to work
with us.
This choice is ours. Make the choice to
continue to learn from our Father by starting a home group
NOW.
