Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters As in the Days of Noah The other day I went to sit out on the deck it was rather overcast but every now and then the sun would peek through. As I sat there praying I watched as the clouds that were once white begin turning darker and darker and closing in coming closer to each other blocking out the sun. The Lord began to speak to me showing me that this is just like the world today. Every evil thing under the sun is becoming more and more prevalent and worse than that it is even becoming more acceptable. Just as the Earth was filled with such wickedness that the Lord could no longer take it. Yet he saved Noah and his family. Noah found favor in God's eyes because he sought to live righteously because he feared God. Yeshua warned us in Matthew 24:37 "but as the days of Noah, so also shall the return of the Son of Man be". As I sat there looking at the clouds pondering on what the Lord was showing me I realized how important it is for us to live righteously before our God. The Lord showed this to me during the 40 days of preparation before the feast of trumpets. The fall feasts are upon us and we look to them with great expectation as every year we get closer to the coming of the Messiah Yeshua! Though we do not know what day or hour our Lord will return He has given us clues. Signs of the times this is one of them. Much of the world is going deeper and deeper away from God ensnared by the evil one. When they see us and the way we live are our lives at testimony and witness that will bring them out of the darkness and into the Lord's glorious light. They will if we conduct ourselves in such a manner that no matter what they say or do to us we are quick to respond back with love in what ever way the Lord shows us to do it. B'Shem Yeshua Hamashiach, Amen The Seventh Day Genesis 2:3 says, "And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made". I was rereading Genesis again today and once again I stopped and pondered on this verse. God had made everything in six days but the seventh day He set apart and made it Holy. He sat in heaven on His Throne and watched and enjoyed everything His hands had created. That included you and I. Everything was absolutely perfect can you imagine what joy there must have been in heaven! All the angels rejoicing praising Yahweh! Marveling at His handiwork everything he just spoke into being, except for a man. He came down to the earth and form dust out of the dirt breathed into the nostrils of man and we became a living being in the image of God! (Verse 7) He blessed us and that was the end of the sixth day. Can you just imagine the Lord our God sitting in heaven enthroned in majesty sitting back enjoying everything he created. More importantly watching Adam and Eve as they explored the wonderful place where God had put them! What an incredible day that must have been! For one day the Lord God who was all-knowing and knew what was to come simply sat back and enjoyed all the creation around Him. He set that day apart and hallowed it. What a wonderful example for us to simply take that day one day out of seven and rest! Spending time learning about the wonderful God who created us because He wanted a friendship with us. Nothing more and nothing less just a one on one love relationship. Our God does not rest now not even on the Sabbath but he will again one day I believe after all has been completed. He promises to make all things new again (Revelation 21:1-3) I believe Him! Why am I so confident in this because I know Him to be faithful to me even when I have been unfaithful to Him, that's how I know!
