Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Blessed Are the Meek Matthew 5:5 Yeshua teaches, "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth". Once again He is simply reminding the people of what was said to Psalm 37:11 "but the meek shall inherit the earth and shall be like themselves in the abundance of peace". Whenever we read the New covenant so many times I've noticed it always points back to the original covenant. Nothing has changed. After Yeshua rose from the dead and ascended into heaven he gave us the Holy Spirit so that He might dwell within us. This is how we can have this abundance of peace. In the previous vs. a Psalm 37 David says "trust in the Lord; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness"4 "Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart". So many of us have loved ones who are not walking the way of the Lord and we want to see them come into His fullness and walk alongside of us so that one day we will all spend eternity together. That is probably one of the biggest desires of all of our hearts. We can stand on this scripture and put it into practice. Trust in the Lord, dwell in peace and we shall have the desires of our heart. We also have other desires but they must always line up with what is the will of God for our lives. I desire to be healed and out of this wheelchair but only if it is God's will for my life. I have had more opportunities to speak to people about my faith because I am in this wheelchair so I do not despise it anymore. Do I believe God can heal me Absolutely without a Doubt for Nothing Is Impossible with God! But I want His perfect will in my life. Before I had this brainstem stroke I was busy going from meeting to meeting and doing all sorts of things looking after the house my husband and children. While this is good to do I did not have the time to simply sit at my Masters feet the way I have had to now. While I miss doing many things whether I do them in this life or in the next it does not matter anymore I will rejoice in the Lord my Savior! He is the one who gives me strength each day so I come to Him with a thankful and grateful heart. When my children were little I was blessed in the fact that I didn't have to be like other moms when they got home from school busy getting supper ready I had others do that I could simply have them crawl up on my bed and they would tell me all about their day. Now they are grown-up and have children of their own. The Lord always gives me a purpose. What ever you have what ever your situation let Him use you and be sure to give Him all the glory!
