Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Our Judge Just as Yeshua is our King He is also our Judge. As I was reading in John chapter 5:22-23 a light bulb went off in my head so to speak. Here it says, "for the Father judges no one but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." When Yeshua made this statement it was not something new to Him. He has always been in this role! God the Father first pointed this out in Exodus 23: 20-21. "Behold I send an Angel before you to keep you and bring you into the place I have prepared for you. Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions, for My Name is in Him." In Exodus Yeshua I believe was that Angel that helped lead the Israelite children into the promised land. It is He who delivered their enemies into their hands driving them out before them and bringing them into a land flowing with milk and honey! It is this same judge that came to teach us and keep us in all our ways. Yeshua told us if we loved Him to keep His commandments, His mitzvahs. He came to set the record straight the law had become a burden the Pharisees had added to God's words. Once again Yeshua came in the flesh this time to show us the way, but also to redeem us and deliver us from our enemies. Not flesh and blood but rather our adversary and his oppressors. He did many miracles signs and wonders yet only a remnant recognized Him as the true Messiah before His death and resurrection. The atoning work of the cross was necessary for us it was the only way we would be able to be fully reconciled with the Father. What an amazing, wonderful and powerful revelation hit me. In the desert of the Sinai He did not forgive their iniquity or transgression. Once again the message is the same faith trust and obedience in our Messiah will bring us straight to the Father and into eternal life. Once again He tells us if we follow after Him, He will prepare a place for us in His Father's house. I believe it and I want as many as can come to be there as well. I want to do everything to please my Father in heaven. He has gone to great lengths on my behalf to ensure and make away for me to have life and life more abundant, John 10:10. Almighty God is Holy and Just in all His ways. I want to follow after Him not just so that I'll make it to heaven, I want that to of course! More importantly I want Him to know that I love Him and am thankful and grateful for all that He has done for me. We all have a choice to make, I think it's more than just saying a prayer and counting on that, then sitting back waiting till we either crossover from this life to the next or He returns. I've made my choice and I know I can trust Him!
